This is the Canadian home of The "Original" Banjola the famous hybrid banjo-mandola instrument created by Edward Victor Dick. Edward is originally from Canada, now settled in Denver Colorado. He not only builds and repairs stringed instruments but also teaches instrument building at The Colorado School of Lutherie
After a long and distinguished career building steel string and classical guitars, Edward has begun to focus on the banjola, both as an instrument to build and to play. He has recorded an album of tradition and original instrumental tunes performed on the banjola which is available from his website and from iTunes!
